My Life My Way - Enabling Inclusion and Communities

Our festival ambitions are, and always will be, to provide a value for money experience, for people of all ages and varying musical tastes. We make every effort to make sure our events are accessible to all so that everyone has the opportunity to experience a wide range of musical acts within a safe and supportive environment. A Fest For All logo lets you know that the team are ready and willing to think about any adjustments we can make to make sure the events are accessible to all.

“Last year we ran a SOLD OUT one day festival – Ossyfest! Ossyfest helped us to set a solid foundation for future events. People with learning disabilities, autism or both and families told us that they didn’t feel their access needs were always taken properly into account at large events so we worked with groups of people and ran our first festival to help us to develop a Fest For All Logo. We hope Fest For All will reassure people that events using the logo will have taken into consideration the access needs of a wide range of people to help make everything we do accessible to all.”

Ossyfest – October 2017

Fest For all

Ossyfest was our first attempt at meeting the challenge we were given to host an accessible music festival - and it SOLD OUT! We battled the elements at Storm Brian hit Oswaldtwistle the day of the festival but it didn't dampen our spirits and we had a wonderful time. Festival goers gave us lots of advice and tips on things to consider when we run Music Festivals in the future.

We made the local news and were interviewed for 2BR radio too.

Ossyfest helped us achieve success as WINNERS of an Aviva Community Award  and winning made sure there was £1000 'in the pot' to set the ball rolling towards what became our Live Life Festival 2018.

Live Life Fest

This summer, with partners My Life Charity, we hosted a 2 day ‘Live Life’ Festival offering a full festival experience with outstanding music, entertainment and opportunities to meet new friends, have fun and find out about things that are available in the North West.

Live Life Festival boasted performances on 2 different stage areas to accommodate different music tastes and additional performances and attractions such as - Music workshops - Street entertainers - Dancers - Art and Crafts and much more, with opportunities for people to dance, or simply relax in our chill out space and take it all in.
